BUCKHEAD Peachtree Tavern is a club built for live music. And drinking. And hanging out. They don't serve food, but next door is Loco's Deli and Pub, home of some of the best, wettest sandwiches around.
The Peachtree Tavern has a simple layout: It's a two-room place with the stage set up in the bigger of the two rooms. There's a big bar in the big front room and a small bar in the small back room. A few freestanding bars provide leaning space in the middle of the jam room, and they come in handy when you're checking out the band. Along the wall there are some fairly comfortable chairs that lend themselves well to hanging out.
I went to Peachtree Tavern to see the hip hop group 17th Floor. In case you're wondering, I did, in fact, get my crunk on.
